Increased Safety & Sterilization Protocols
At Team Dental, your health & safety is our top priority. We do everything we can to make sure our office is as clean & sterile as possible, so you don’t have to worry about getting sick at your appointment. Especially during times of greater health concerns, you can leave your worry at the door & focus on your dental health. It’s important to us that nothing gets in the way of providing high-quality, personalized care to each of our patients.
What We Are Doing
We are taking several measures to keep everyone who enters our office safe. With heightened sterilization procedures, we are proud to exceed the standards of the Centers for Disease Control as we make patient safety & office sterilization our top priorities.
- Our team is outfitted with full personal protective equipment (PPE) to make certain our patients remain safe. This equipment includes gloves, face shields, masks & professionally cleaned full-coverage clothing.
- We perform daily screenings to ensure our team members are healthy & ready to focus on our patients.
- In addition to regular office cleaning done outside our office hours, we take special care to disinfect surfaces touched by patients & staff. Several times a day, we go through each room & wipe down frequently touched surfaces—countertops, tables, doorknobs, cabinets, sinks & restrooms—using medical-grade disinfectants.
- Our water lines are filtered to get rid of bacteria & microorganisms that would not pose a threat to healthy patients, but might be more dangerous to older patients or those with compromised immune systems.
- To minimize the number of people in the office at any time, we are spacing out & staggering appointments.
What Your Visit Will Look Like
We are excited to welcome you back into our office! While visiting our office will be different from the last time you were here, please know that these changes have been implemented for the safety of you & our team members. These new procedures allow us to focus on providing the very best dental care we can in the safest setting.
Please review the following protocols before your visit:
- When you arrive, call us from the parking lot. Before you enter the office, we will ask you a few screening questions.
- When it is safe for you to enter the office, we will let you know.
- Companions are limited to parents/guardians of children & medically necessary companions.
- Once you enter, please
- sanitize your hands at our sanitizing station.
- get your temperature taken as one final screening measure before your treatment can begin.
- wear your mask, or if you do not have one, we will provide one.
- Skip the waiting room! We will bring you straight to your treatment room.
- After your treatment, we will guide you through a streamlined check-out to ensure minimal contact with others.
